All the ideas Simon eventually went with were actually Rorys, i.e the actual design of the building and the dancing girls. it was so sweet the way he gave his all and attempted to do the choreography as well

his commentary was also hilarious

and errrrm i kinda found him hot

Rory was the star of yestredays show, his ideas were genius, pity Tre acted like such a fool towards him, if Rory hadn't spotted what a stupid idea the boat was Simon wouldn't have won.

Pity he went out so early as he was very entertaining.

Also in youve got hired such a big deal was made about Kate's bithy comments about Kristina, what about Tre calling Rory a bitch, and a moron?

It didn't appear that Simon went with Rorys design ideas at all, rather that when presented with the teams initial thoughts, the architects were excited at the potential of Rorys design and they jumped on it-remember them saying it was such a shame that the person with flair and innovative design wasn't there to develop things with them?

Yep, Rory pretty much saved the design side of last night's task and, though his idea of the dancers was pitched a bit naffly, it evolved into something that connected with the wave theme - he deserved more credit, I feel

I got a little rattled that it was Simon who was credited with the creativity.

If Rory had spoken to me the way he did the other contestants when he was heading up the task of designing the "Rambo" belt, he would have had a few less teeth.
The guy was a total knob I'm sorry to say.

Rory was great last night.

Thought he was very cute in boardroom too, when he had a big grin on his face after realising his big idea had payed off.

Rory's problem in a nutshell, Tre insults him to his face and he just bites his lip and stares sullenly out of the window - if you're not willing or able to come back against such direct aggression you're not going to be Surallans apprentice.

I'm sure he's be fine in a School Prefect scenario but in real life where the gloves are off he seems to flounder.

Rory was a big asset to Simon and his win but didn't seem to get much credit. Simon did put on a excellent presentation talk (as mention by Sir Alan). I have alway thought the dog task with Rory was the funniest of the series and it was a shame he went out so early we obvioulsy didn't see his full potential.

I didn't see the first two episodes so couldn't say whether his persona matches the phallic imagery of the building he designed, but he did come across very well last night. He contributed a lot to the task (unlike Tre IMO) and I really think he saved Simon's bacon.

Also got to agree with the OP - he is very hot

I thought they went to the architects with Rory's designs and then the architects lamented the absense of the person behind the designs. I don't recall them being shown the boat designs. If so, then it would appear Simon did take on Rory's idea.

That is correct. Prior to going to the architects, they decided on a majority vote to go for Rory's design.

Whilst Rory may have some good ideas, his pomposity & arrogance annoys people. He had been having little digs at Tre throughout the day before Tre blew his top.

Yup, Rory's ideas saved Simon's ass. Then again Simon can be given credit for spotting they were good.

I was thinking more along the lines of a furry household pet that likes to purr....

Rory was great entertainment last night. Not only did he come up with a winning design but he was truly hilarious, often without meaning to be. It is a shame he went so early in the series really, I think he would have been a lot of fun to watch had he stayed a bit longer. I'm glad he had a chance to shine a bit more.

I only see Rory as pompous, arrogant and stuck up. But if that's what people like in a person, then who am I to argue?
