Chuh... A story that multiple endings has been filmed. The specifics are spoilers, and should be marked as such either in the body, or at the least in the thread title. It's not rocket science.

EDIT: BTW, I don't believe any of this. I expect the season end to be much... well.. lamer.

its got to be the first surely, 10 doc can't leave not yet i thought he was doing the 4th series , the third is not true because that would me the doc would be without a tardis.

Plus with all the rumors of martha goes missing in the 4th series i would guess that its the 1st one

Perhaps they'll use all of them and we end up with a cliffhanger about which cliffhanger is THE cliffhanger

Now could the people who quoted the unspoilered spoiler please spoiler their quotes

But also leaves me wondering whether the Christmas special this year will actually be more of a storyline continuation rather than just a one off pantomime story.

Ah - but these may be bluff spoilers. For example, the spoiler that says:

may not be wholly correct.

Its not looking good didn't RTD say he would never end the series on a cliffhanger so this rule out 1 and 3 which means No. 2 is correct plus if your going to film different endings why would they make one of him regenerating, whats the point.

Although i could of swore that SM said that in his two parter for S4 "DT is actually in this one the big slacker" compared to his doc lite ep Blink

Well they did that type of an ending in the first series, so its possible, i hope it turns out to be No 1

So does anyone know what John Simm's plans are whilst S4 is being filmed?

I personally think that was a kind of publicity thing, just to get the speculation-ists talking. Although the CJ salute is in the Series 3 trailer!

Why waste budget filming three endings???

And the alledged 3 endings isn't???

I'm making the point I don't belive that there are three endings to the show and that it will end on a different note altogether.....
