This series is a definite let down.

There is no doubt that last year's series was far far superior to this one, which of course comes down to the interaction between the contestants..... this year... they are all so .. well .... boring frankly.... Daniella is the only one with a bit of spark and appeal to her.... if they run out of logs..... I can name some real DEAD WOOD they can use to keep the flames going...... Chris, and Sian being the primary candidates.... they are just so utterly boring. I miss the tension and fights from last year..... this is like a vicar's tea party. I bet the producers will think very carefully about who to let into series three if there is one. We are almost a full week into it, and no screaming matches yet. YAWN.

I'm still enjoying the series, however it is a bit of a shame that they are all getting on so well. I think it may be down to the fact that there isn't really a protaganist, they are all fairly moderate personalities and many of them are just too similar.

For instance I think that Sian, Linda & Chris are too alike, they are just nice people, uncontroversial, unlikely to offend, nice but dull. I think you need at least one or two extreme personalities in a show like this to cause a spark.

I also think on reflection, they really ought to have let Rustie Lee in. She's the kind of character you either love or hate, and undoubtedly there would have been some fabulous moments out there with her non-stop bellowing laugh. I can imagine her and Wayne would have got on really well, whilst she would have probably started to annoy a lot of the others. It would have also caused a bit of confliction with Anthony, with having 2 chefs in the camp.

However, the viewers have some control over how it goes, and I would say it's time to lay off Fash for the challenges. Let's see how the others perform, and please VOTE SIAN tonight.
