Looks like this offer is about to be scrapped.

www.tmobile.co.uk/changes

From 30th July we're making our offers simpler by removing any promotions and offers you currently have (apart from the 20% Get More scheme) and giving you the chance to opt into a brand new promotion which we'll tell you about soon.

I knew it wasn't going to last forever but then again I still think 3p a text is very good value for money. I'll be staying with t-mobile.

Depends how many texts your sending.. The Orange or O2 tariffs with free texts could be better value for higher volume texters..£30 for 1000 texts and then having the £30to do what you like with.. Perhaps tmobiles new promotion may be something along these lines?

Is that really a wise move?

Dude, get on Orange. You still get 300 texts for a £10 top up, 1MB of GPRS (free unlimited evening browsing if you top up £20 a month) and calls are 15p a minute to any network.

"Calls to your mates on T-Mobile are increasing from 5p to 8p a minute from 30th July - texting them will stay at just 5p"

"Everyone call prices will increase from 12p to 15p a minute from 30th July, an unconditional price which isn't currently bettered in the UK "

All in all, these great changes will cost you more money - even more reason to move to a one month sim only contract with o2

A massive above inflation increase and removal of anything decent.

Time to ditch T-Mobile PAYG once and for all for Voda with stop the clock.

"Massive"?? Are you the type of person who calls 4 inches 'massive' too??

3p is not 'massive'.

I'm going to seemingly go against most of you and say that t-mobile will not get rid of free evening and weekend texts for £10

Theres a link to say the promotions are ending and the free texts is a promotion.

EDIT: After having a serious think and chat about it me and the gf have decided to stick with T-Mobile. 3p texts is still excelent value and if the free texts do expire we'll find out what this other promotion is.

Read my post again i edited it saying I saw it my mistake

So what do you think this new promotion will be?
Free texts all the time for free?
Something like O2 and Orange where ytou get certain amount of texts for topping up? I could see it being that really as long as MMS still comes out of credit and not free texts I'm happy lol

60% is not 'massive' either! For the sake of 3p on a text or per minute call, tmobile won't lose many people over this.

I think they'll wanna do something a little different, t-mob always seem to do things different to other networks, a good thing i have to say. I can't see how they can improve on the free texts that they are scrapping tho.

I'd prefer MMS to come out of free texts cos then they'd be free too!

Not happy about :-

From 26th September we're making the cost of browsing the whole Internet on your phone with web'n'walk simpler. Rather than pay for the amount you download until you spend £1, there will be a simple daily fee of £1 which gives you 24 hours unlimited.

This seems to say that any amount of browsing/internet access will cost you £1 per day irrespective of how much (or little !!) you do.

IMHO all mobile operators will 'revise' prices upwards to compensate for the forced reduction in roaming charges that comes in at the end of the summer
