I have to agree...been watching since about 6am, in between doing other stuff...and she really doesn't give a toss about the actual program or follow-up stuff...somethings are just a bit more important than work...fair play to her, I say........

now....I wonder who'll replace her....cat's going to miss having a little friend to bounce off.......the other women all seem a bit too grown up for her......I don't mean that in a 'catty' way...just that they all seem quite happy with who they are and don't look to anyone else to bolster their ego's...Cat seemed to be more comfortable when flirting with the guys, or having girly chats with Daniella, than when she's on her own (which is a shame because she's infinitely more interesting to watch when she's being herself)....and the guys seemd to have adopted daniella as the 'little girl to fuss over' role, which I think put Cat's nose out of joint in the beginning....she's either going to try and get pally with the 'new' person, or go into override on the flirting front...looks like she's started to wear Chris down already...should make interesting watching for the next few days anyhow! *grin*

Well the sound keeps going off but I think I caught snippets discussing a male stand-in and Sian asked Linda about names on a list, there was also something about somebody from Blue Peter? Of course this is only the celebs ideas of who might be brought in. Personally I think its too late to bring somebody new in.

So is she staying or is she going, they blanked out all the sound and pics, but now shes back amongst the fold. I wonder if they saved her any corn, or did the producers let her have a slap up meal a manicure and a shag while she was away.

Someone just said 'I'm glad she's staying'. Something about knowing she's not unpopular and won't be the first to be evicted has helped her. She declined Antony's offer of food saying she'd had something. I wonder if she was allowed to speak to Kevin and he told her to stick it out.

She's still there, If she was going she would have gone by now surely.
They're waiting for the bag of food to come down, it will be interesting to see if there are a lot more extras to tempt her to stay.

Sian asked Daniella if she thought she had made the right decision and Daniella replied "No, not really, but I understand why I have to stay."

She just said 'That taste of freedom was so close'. Someone asked if she was OK and she said "yes, I'll just cuddle up with my Chris... coochy coochy chrissy wissy" (or words to that effect) and now they are sitting next to each other murmuring.

Poor Cat - bet she'd prefer Danni to have really gone - earlier she said how lovely it was that Danniella was going back to be with her family which makes her happy and everyone should be happy for her.

Oh honestly, what did she expect ? Before signing up to do the show she knew she might have to be there for 2 weeks, she knew it would be hard and they would have meagre rations. I have no sympathy for her, they must have signed a contract and so they should honour it.

From that comment I would say that she's been persuaded to stay by the psychiatrist because it will be important for her continued rehabilitation from her addictions.

She might not have been told food would be this restricted. Wayne said he was not told there would be rationing of rice and that he thought the basics would not be limited. I dont remember them being this hungry in the first series.

Danniella is not strong enough to sit on a log, waiting to hear the name of the first person to be evicted.
she will've convinced herself her name will be the one called.
She has a fragile mind, she wont be able to handle the rejection.
So, she wants to jump, before she is pushed.

Maybe the tasks were easier last time

The contract expressly says that they are free to leave any time they want to. I say good for Daniella if shes staying.

They are repeating last night's coverage now and she's talking made the decision to leave: "As soon as I get back I'll ring my family and I'll ring my therapist and say 'I've cracked up, what am I going to do?!' and he'll say 'don't worry about it'... it was like going surfing and getting dragged under and that was it... I just need a bath and some sleep"

I think you're right, if she had quit it could have caused a setback in her recovery. However much she convinced herself that it was a positive decision, she'd still have the knowledge that when things got tough she reached for the comfort of a hot bath and familiar people rather than stick it out.

She was gone a long time, wonder if they called her therapist to give her a session.

The only thing Danni is missing is her credit card.
I read that she cost the show £20,000 before it even started. She wanted first class for her and her family and the best things at the hotel.

She told Sian that she bought a skirt for $1,000 in a shop next to the hotel. I'm sick of listening to her bragging about what she has,from the jag with the playstation and all the extras, and only the best clothes even down to where she shops.
I think the only thing Danni needs is a good kick up the ****.

This was going to be hard for whoever went into the jungle. she could at least stick it out for her charity.

Maybe, if all she is going to do is moan it's right that she goes. I'm sure they will just get on with it.

I like Danniella. I think she has provided more entertainment than most in the camp, and she took her trial extremely sportingly.

I hope she stays, but if it's better for her health then good luck to her if she leaves. Like her or not, it's fair to say that she has had genuine and scary issues and problems in the past, and whether the show is for charity or not, her health comes first, and I wouldn't blame her if she felt she had to leave for the sake of her own wellbeing.

She is a tough girl and I hope she stays......
Her and Linda have showed us there real sides and she should stay and see how much the public like her know

I hope Danniella continues to stick it out, no matter how hard it is. because I think she will really benefit from the experience afterwards.

Out of all the contestants on this show, Danniella is the one that the media and viewers have the most to say about. she's got the most chequered past and she's an easy target for abuse and gossip.

She's had a hard life, most of it because of mistakes she's made. But she'd getting through that now. She's turning herself around and taking control of things again. Everyones struggling in the jungle, but shes there struggling also with drug addiction and drink.

She is mouthy, she can be a bitch..but thats more to do with her circumstances growing up...it's her defence..shes got a hard exterior..but out of all the group, she's been amongst those who have really been honest with everyone. We've seen her at her best, we've seen her at her worst.

If she stays, I don't think she'll win..but I think she'll do well afterwards. And you know what? good! Because then it can prove that even though you can hit rock bottom and be publically humiliated because if it....you can still get over it.

From a bit of conversation I heard the other night, it sounded as though Wayne saw the resident psychiatrist after his trial because he was so down. He was saying that he'd never seen one before and didn't realise how good they were. I presume this was where Dani was for so long..........................after being fed a slap up meal.

I read that she sprouts horns at night and conjours up the devil.
Of course, I dont believe everything I read, that would be silly.
