Just in case this forum disappears in the near future, I think it's time we instituted a Chris Crosby Society...the boy is just too cute and talented to fade without trace.

Anyone know what Chris is getting up to, post ADWD?
He had loads of talent and so I do hope some impressario will take him under their wing and get him roles he deserves

Chris, take heart, boy, you DO have fans out there! And we want you!!

Scroll back someone posted a link to his web site. I thought his close every door was still the best.......whether it was sheer shock as we didn't expect it but he sang it beautifully and acted it well.

I am sure if he stayed in he would have got the chance to shine although have to admit I am glad he lost out to Ben......sorry Chris fans

Chris Croby's "Close Every Door" was also my favourite of series.

Annoyed I taped over the very end of it by accident - I am VERY cross with myself.

Aw, he's lovely isn't he?

Is his performance on the first week on youtube anywhere? I've looked but can't find it.

Poor Chris.

I loved his Close Every Door and agree with the people who said it was the best one.

I liked his Close Every Door as well. I think it's a shame for those knocked out in the early stages, because they might have blossomed/grown on us more, but we never got the chance. Sometimes wonder with shows like this if it wouldn't be fairer to keep everyone in till the end and then have one vote in the last show where everyone is placed in order of the public vote. Course then ALW wouldn't be able to have his say!

That would be an interesting idea in a way, keeping them all.

I really liked Chris and Ben in the auditions/early programmes.
Was sad they were up against each other in the very first sing off. In the same way that Ben really blossomed, if Chris had had that chance he could have too. We'll never know, until he does something else.

Thanks for the info on his website!
I agree wholeheartedly with the idea of keeping them all in over the whole run and only then letting the public votes decide!! Bet ALW would have 'kittens' (and not just Daniel's Kittens) at that loss of control! Still, the vote could be cumulative, week by week, with each week's winner being announced and singing not the 'defeat' song but a 'victory' one!!

It would have a much more positive vibe then.
Of course, I guess the same person could potentially win every week though?

I loved Chris C. Looked like a David Tennant jr in his suit.

To me he's what Joseph looked like when I was told the story as a kid. Especially with the thrown in a pit bit by his older brothers.
Wish he would have stayed in the show a bit longer.

Chris unfortunately wasn't in ADWD long enough for me to form an opinion on him then, but I love 'My Girl' which he sings with Craig on the Dream On cd. I think they sound wonderful together.

Because this thread has been started I decided to have a look and see what Chris is doing in Half a Sixpence. I was really surprised to see the show is going to be in Edinburgh in April! I took the plunge and booked tickets for the whole family on Monday 14th. I'm really looking forward to seeing Chris live now. That will make six Jo's for me.

I'm seeing it in Bristol at the beginning of March. I booked ages ago and didn't actually realise that he was in it at the time
