We had a wonderful time last night at ATFOTF. The show was fantastic, making me both laugh and cry. I also really enjoyed hearing all the David Essex songs from my youth. Made me all nostalgic.

Loved seeing Chris back on stage again. He is a superb actor and dancer. The scene where he is pretending to be drunk is very funny, and in the sad scene at the end Chris acts everyone else off the stage. At the end when the cast were doing their bows Chris spotted Charlotte's t-shirt and did a double take. It made us laugh.

After the show we met Chris at the stage door. He was lovely and was happy to chat. He is really enjoying this show and is also looking forward to panto next month. Only wish we could go, but promised him we would go to ATFOTF again next year.
This was a wonderful review Norlene, so pleased you had a great time and met with Chris after the show.

Just remembered that when I spoke to Chris I mentioned the thread. I said Siouxsie and Jenn said hi and also mentioned we were keeping things going to support him. He really appreciates it and will do his best to post some time soon.
Thanks for this Norlene, I'm so pleased you got a chance to say that we support Chris. Can't wait to see him in Panto this week. Wish you and Charlotte, Jenn and the Bartonettes were there too. Would be such a party.

Take care,

Love Siouxsie xxx

Thanks for this Vegas. It was lovely to see Chris interviewed, he is such a lovely guy and comes across really well in interviews doesn't he. He will make a wonderful Aladdin won't he and will have such fun with the Chuckle Brothers. It will be a great show.

The twins and I had a great time yesterday at the panto When it opened with Twanky and son I did think I was at the wrong show but mostly it was good fun, though whether I would have said this if I had been one of those squirted with water am not so sure

Chris and his "princess" made an attractive young couple and sang nicely the Chuckle Brothers, although not my cup of tea, were great entertainers for the childeren but for me, the show was stolen by Robin Askwith as the evil Abernarzar (not sure how to spell it )

It also had a 3D genie, and other 3D effects, which were great though perhaps a bit frightening for the younger ones

It was an enjoyable afternoon at the theatre, and had great company in Siouxsie and Mazza

Sound as though you all enjoyed yourselves yesterday, Jean. I'm sure Chris was lovely in the part of Aladdin and thank goodness you did not get squirted with water. I bet the 3D part was really good. It's amazing what they can do with 3D now. Lovely to hear that the twins had a good day also.

Lovely review Jean. We all laughed at Twanky and Son as the first song in the show and thought we had come to wrong show. It was great to see you yesterday and to see the ever talented Chris in the role of Aladdin. It was lovely to have your company too.

Best wishes Chris for the rest of the panto run.
