There are some very good reviews of half a sixpence in the Sunderland papers.

It looks like the cast have really got it together and the spring tour should be well worth watching.

Hi Viewtalk, I'm glad it's getting good reviews. I'm really looking forward to going to see it in April. Does it mention if Gary is well again?

It's great to have a thread for Chris isn't it. Half a Sixpence must be good if you want to go again.

Was going to add listing but just realised Viewtalk has already done it.

We really need more Chris photos don't we? ”

Hi Lewis H,

Thanks for your lovely response and thanks to Viewtalk re the listings of where Half a Sixpence is touring, although doesn't look as though it is coming anywhere near to where I live which might be a problem cost and travelling wise. Will have to look at logistics I think as would love to see him in the show again and I think he understudys for Gary Wilmott too so would be extra special to see him in a leading role.

Thought it was nice too at the Dream On concert when Chris C's step-mum came up to the Craigettes and introduced herself and said she wanted to thank all the Craigettes for all their support to the boys. Wasn't that lovely of her. She seemed ever so nice.

Hope you are having a good day,

Take care,

Has anyone heard what is happening with Dream On?

The Half a Sixpence run finishes sometime in May - Chris C like Chris B and Craig from what is posted on other threads would all be available. Not sure about Antony's contract with Joseph but it would seem that they are all available - summer Tour?

Any clues?

I'm sure I read that Antony is signed up until June, but hey I'm free in July

When you log into Chris' official web site it comes up with Chris singing Crazy Dreamer. Does anyone know if you can buy/ download this anywhere?

I'm sure its been mentioned on Craig's thread that there is the possibility of Dream On touring at some stage, so here's hoping as I know a tour would do so well.

Does Chris C have his own official website, can anyone give me the details of this so that I can log in.

Many thanks,

Hi antsmate, Do you know when this is? As much as I will love seeing Chris in Joseph, I have just bought tickets to see him in Half a Sixpence. I'm a little worried now.

Can't see him leaving Sixpence before the end of this segment of the tour as he understudies Gary Wilmot.

I know that there is a bus load going to see him in Sheffield from his old school and the village where he lives at the end of April. He wouldn't want't to disappoint them I am sure.

Just read your message on Ant's site Antsmate. Thank you so much for this updated info. It's brilliant new, so I popped over to Chris C's website to see if anyone had posted this fab news and thank you so much for updating everyone on here.

Its certainly going to be quite a touring production with so many Joe's in the same show. Fantastic for all of us ADWD fans.

I am assuming Chris C won't be touring until his contract with Half a Sixpence finishes. Anyone know when that will be?

Take care,

As far as I know the Half a Sixpence run finishes at the beginning of May. The current Joseph run finishes in Glasgow on 10th May so I'm guessing he'd join the tour at some point after that...

Chris Barton finishes then and it sounds as if Keith is finishing too so it would still be 3 ADWD boys - Craig, Ant and Chris C...

Wonder if he will be in Aberdeen?
I had tickets for half a sixpence when he was here, but couldn't get.

On the I'd Do Anything thread Viewtalk has posted that Chris played Oliver in Cameron MacKintosh's production in 2000/01. He was only 11. This was Chris' first time in musical theatre. I hope we see him in many more productions in the future.

Lucky you Lewish. Just so I'm not confused, sorry its been one of those days today, weather very yuk that you are due to see Chris C in Half a Sixpence. If it is HAS, it would be fab if Chris C is in the lead role of Arti, not that I'm wishing Gary Wilmott to be indisposed or anything but would mean you get to see more of him on stage.

Chris C is even more good looking up close then he looks on stage. He has gorgeous eyes.

Take care,

Hi Siouxsie,

Hope the weather has not been too unkind to you. Some parts of the country seem to be getting it really bad. Here in Livingston we only have had heavy rain. No wind, so I think we have been lucky.

It is Half a Sixpence I am going to see Chris in. (Although if he is joining Joseph, I hope to see him in that too. )

I agree that he is good looking. I have the photo of Chris which Rogue took at the Palladuim as my pc background at the moment. It shows his lovely eyes.
