Hi

I have just bought a bush 19 inch lcd tv from asda. I am trying to wall hang it but at the back of tv there are four holes but nothing in them to attach the screws and bracket to. Can anyone help? Thanks

I assume you have checked there are no hidden mounting holes beneath a central rear label?

Most flat panel TVs have VESA mounting holes. I'd go back to ASDA and ask them to check if their display model or remaining stock has screw fixings.

Yes I've checked its just four holes drilled into the plastic at the back. They are the right space for the bracket but nothing in them to put screws in them. I have also checked the Asda display model and it has the same thing. I have also phoned Bush helpline and they said couldn't help me!! I know the tv is cheap but really cmon they didnt have to miss the vital parts

Haha, Vestel are upto their old tricks again!

Anything to save the pennies

If there's nothing in the holes then it can't be wall mounted.

You could take the back off, push a bolt with a washer on the end through, then a nut, put the back on th tv then attach the bracket to the bolts?

Doesn't do much for the warranty though.

When the back panel is removed, the main PCB, PSU and LCD panel are actually all fixed to this so it's a complete strip down job.

Ah fair enough! My LCD came with the threads for the bolts so I havent needed to take it apart.

Gaffer tape could be your friend!
