Immediately after the Mark & Tara finale show next Monday night at 11pm, ITV2 start showing the American version of the show. And then nightly at various times.

Tyson Beckford (the male model) runs around butt naked.
The trials are a lot like the one's you are currently having.
Seems like the USA group were a little more tighter knit too.
Worked as a team and you got to know them all,
I really liked Chris Judd - ex husband of J - Lo.
I voted for him to win it - think i phoned about 20 + times!!!!

Is there anyone on the USA version that we will have heard of over here?

I don't know - before this show I knew nothing about Phil, Chris, Catalina or Sian. I would have recognised Linda's face and Wayne & John's names. Danniella, Toyah and Antony are the only three I'd have been able to name on sight. But it didn't take me long to get to know who was who.

Hopefully the US show will be shown from the beginning so we get the introductions!

Well, that's true, but I think I would have known something about most of our ones. The ones I hadn't heard of could easily be put into some context, eg Linda, she does one of the house programmes on the telly. OK, that's all I need to know

Melissa Rivers - daughter of Joan Rivers

Tyson Beckford - gorgeous male model.

Stuttering John - from Howard Stern show (swears a lot and farts a lot too!)

Chris Judd - dance choreographer. Famous for being married to Jennifer Lopez for a short while. Very nice person.

Bruce Jenner - ex Olympic athlete

Downtown Julie Brown - ex Brit who won the World Disco Championships many years ago then came over to the USA to be an MTV VJ.

Nicki Ziegler (sorry if spelling of last name is incorrect) - is or was a Playboy model. Married at one time to one of the cast of Beverly Hills 90210. She spends most of the show in her teeny tiny bikini, flirting with Tyson Beckford, washing her hair in the much needed water and then doing the famous crocodile BTT.

Alana Stewart - ex wife of Rod Stewart. Very annoying woman. Does some of the hard BTT and really does a good job at them

Maria Conchito Alonso - an actress ( i had never heard of her)

The USA public pretty much voted fairly so that everyone got to do a few of the BTT. The only one who did not do any was Robin Leach.

I agree with swingaleg,you've got to know at least two or three otherwise there's no instant interest.

Big Brother and the like is different because it's a slow burner,with a couple of months to run

I mean watching the American version is like watching BB with 10 new contestants and then a fortnight later it's finished
