Please excuse me but I am a newbie and not very good with settings etc. I have purchased the LE40M87 from Samsung and I am very pleased with it except it says in the manual that it supports 1080P when i go into SKY Settings it only shows sky as 1080i how do i change this or does the tv automaticaly receive/show it as 1080p?

Broadcasts are in 1080i, but all pictures are shown as p anyway, as the TV deinterlaces them (LCD and Plasma aren't scanned like a TV).

So you can't change it, it's doing exactly as it's supposed to.

You don't need to know - just that it works!
