Maybe he is different to Jade, I hope so. I don't find him funny and likable at all. I just find him to be stupid. If he proves to be fun - then ok. But right now I'd give him the thumbs down. Sorry.
Post elsewhere then.

Personally I abhor uneducated people. There is no excuse these days given the amount of resources our Government provide. I noticed immediately this guy lacks something up top and yesterday on the highlights show he confirmed my analysis by telling us the long words he knew. He might become another bad roll model - like Jade Goody I fear.

Personally I am a pompous bore who abhors uneducated people who don't know the difference between a roll model (whatever that is) and a role model.

Not everyone has the capacity to express themselves as well as you do; my brother is dyslexic, not academically gifted and not the most eloquent person I've ever met in my life but that doesn't preclude him from being one of the sweetest, most well rounded and good hearted people I know.

I wasn't aware the purpose of big brother was to find 'roll models' [sic], the very nature of the program and the people it attracts makes that nigh on impossible imo, but so far Brian has come across as a likeable, amiable, benign influence in the house, something the show needs more of.

If his worst character trait displayed so far is a limited vocabulary then I think he's doing pretty well.

Well said

Brian makes me laugh. He's just full of energy and excitement - exactly how any good HM should be, IMHO. I don't want to see bores who are just sitting around waiting to walk out to zelebrity and mag deals.

i disagree with you you obviously dont have the inteligence to see that people that are street wise have more common sense than people who have numerous degree's at uni. what he may lack in intelect he sure makes up with in personality so what if he does'nt know what big words mean who cares he is funny

WOAH, abhor is a very strong word. And you seem ignorant to the fact that there actually could be an excuse for people not being able to get an education.

If only you had been educated on being more open-minded about people. And for someone so educated as yourself, you don't seem to know what "Appreciation" means.

With all the moaning and bitching going on the guy supplies a much needed comic value in abundance. He's made me laugh so far more than the rest of the housemates put together.

It's early days but he could be a BB legend in the making. He's got a really goofy laugh and seems to take a wild-eyed childish delight in things. Just what the house needs. Let's just hope he gets the airtime he deserves.

They wanted BB8 to be 'fun', so hopefully Brian will get a good amount of highlights time. If he's not fun, I don't know who is

Sign me up. I'm really liking Brian so far (I know its early days) He is very charming, funny and witty (even with a slightly limited vocabulary onob). Far from being a bit dim, as has been suggested on numerous threads, Brian has shown great people skills and has deep insight for such a young man but doesn't take things too seriously and is up for anything. He has made me laugh out loud on numerous occasions in his short time in the house. Hope he keeps it up. I am also in the Nicky camp and inching my way towards Liam's.

At first glance he does look older than he is, but you can tell by his manner that he's very young. From what I've seen so far, this Brian has the potential to be as entertaining as the other one was. BB8 will turn out to be far from boring if that's the case

I appreciate him greatly when he's topless

Him and Seany are my favourites at the moment

I just knew Dermot was going to like Brian He's gone right up in my estimation now. IMHO, BB8 is definitely heading in the right direction now. Hopefully there will be less bitching, less fauxmance, and more silliness and fun

Sign me up too. I've really taken to Brian's sunny personality and in some of his conversations, he comes across as quite sensible.

I didn't have a favourite house mate until he came in. He is definitely my favourite.

Likewise, and Nicky (who I always thought had potential) seems to have cheered up a lot since Brian and the others arrived. So hopefully it's happy day ahead

I'm guessing that he's getting the Glyn edit. I've been watching a bit of live feed this week and he's no where as thick as people are making him out to be. Watch out for his observational convos with Gerry, Billi, Liam, Tracey etc and his coping advice to various HMs.
Forget about the surface stuff (voice, laugh, 19 year old blokey banter etc) and listen to the stuff he says outside of that. He's more switched on to whats going on than most in the house.

I agree. If I could design my own HM in a lab like Dr Frankenstein, he would probably be pretty much like Brian

It’s early days, but from what I’ve seen he’s seems to be a nice bloke, and I agree he’s very funny.
