I personally think Brian is a potential comedy genius. He seems to read people very well. As soon as he realised Seany and Laura were taking the pee, he played along brilliantly.

He proved that he's not just a brainless eejit during his DR rant, when he was talking about the others saying Seany shouldn't have gone, right in front of Carole and Jon. This is a guy who is far more sensitive than his gangling, somewhat gormless anorexic Frank Bruno facade would suggest at first glance.

First post for a good few days due to work commitments. was so glad to open the forum and see that our Brian is getting his appreciation hes a great guy keep with it appreciation posters he deserves to go all the way got the best personality by far over the other hm.

After *unashamedly* bumping earlier, I hereby pledge to do the same whenever I can.
Not that I fancy him or anything ( got kids that age and older) but he lightens up the programme.

So incredibly stupid as to be unbelievable.

To his credit he does seem a nice guy.

I don't think Brian is stupid. He comes across as thick at times, but he obviously gives matters a lot of thought. He seemed to be the only one to have concern over how Jon and Carole must have felt when everyone was saying Seany was the wrong person to be evicted, for example.

Brian's not academic but he's not daft. He seems to have a high EQ

Excellent news. As is that fact that he seem to be popular in the house - not picking up any noms. The longer he stays, the more support he'll get, IMHO.

there was a hysteria from a few people towards science's chances a couple of years back, which i never understood. he was too much of a caricature - wannabe rapper - and grated badly. brian on the other hand is someone who has 'coconut' qualities. born/raised as an 'essex boy', he is much easier to relate to from the voting public's perspective, than a caucasian from a far flung country would be. its whats inside that counts, science didn't have "it", brian does.

I REALLY dislike the term 'coconut' and it's meaning is simply ridiculous.

the point is that its his qualities on the inside which determine whether or not he is a contender. science acting as a wannabe gangster/rapper/badboy etcetera is not something the public were ever going to relate to. brian - "essex boy done good" is someone that enough people could relate to to give him a chance of winning the show.

the "there's a bog roll tea leaf in the house" line was cracking, the 'amanda does big poos' was hilarious and the slop diary room session was cracking too.
