Hmm...Personally I would put forth some Nerina Pallot; Sophia or Damascus in particular. Also, Brenda Russell - Piano In The Dark, Muse - Starlight, MCR - Famous Last Words, Regina Spektor - On The Radio, Billy Joel - She's Always A Woman etc.

I do this every night before I go to sleep. The Music Consists of whatever's next on my mp3. I even, somehow, manage to relax when a favourite song of mine comes on.

The Knife - Silent Shout
Lovely to chill out to. And lyrics just designed to induce crazy dreams! "I had a Dream where my teeth fell out, A cracked smile and a Silent Shout" |

I usually do that whenever I find it hard to fall asleep. Keeping the eyes shut and listening to Whitney Houston's or Celine Dion's songs. Mostly I'll have a sweet dream then.
It's good to relax the nerves. |

I'll say those songs by Scottish and British bands.. they all have sort of a pattern to put someone to sleep (in a good way)
e.g.: Closer- Travis and yeah almost all of Coldplay's. |

It's good to relax the nerves. that would give me nightmares. Even if you are fan, I can't see it as relaxing music. |
