I've never seen anyone connect a hard drive directly to a screen and don't really see why you'd want to do that...
However if you mean connecting your computer to it then yes, it's fairly easy - you just run a cable or two between the computers graphics card output and the input on the TV (i.e. SCART). Since not all graphics cards have a suitable video output you may need to use an external box that converts the signal, or replace some parts inside the computer. Knowing more about what computer or graphics card you have, and what connectivity it has at the back would mean someone could give more specific advice. If by hard drive you mean a hard drive recorder such as a Sky+ etc then this obviously connects directly to the TV without any problem at all. |

Easiest way would then be to buy something like this:
http://www.averm.co.uk/avermedia/ave...verkeylite.asp Along with a SCART adaptor and possibly an extension lead, depending how far your PC is from your TV. |

Hi, I assume you want to view the same picture that you see on your PC screen but also on your TV via its SCART video input. Some PC Motherboards have a video out socket in the form of a Phono socket coloured yellow. Or they may have a D-shaped connector with lots of pins which can be used for TV In/Out. Or they can have an S-video socket which is round with 4 pins.
Am slightly confused about this "S-Video slot". Can you describe this in more detail? I have done this procedure many times and as in most technology these days you get what you pay for. Pay little, get poor pictures. On a standard CRT TV the picture is always poorer than the PC's monitor picture. Apart from mjk79's suggestion which should work, try the websites of Keene and Lektropacks who have VGA to video converters. |

Whatever outs you have on the back of your PC can normally be connected to a TV by getting a;
VGA to Scart converter or DVI to S-Video converter or VGA to Component converter etc, etc. |
