She's gone shopping.

Got 25 grand burning a rather substantial hole in her pocket.

I reckon i must be the only one who wants to keep that monkey in the jungle. The less of her i see on TV, the happier I am.

She should never have been allowed to go in there.

If her husband loves her what on earth was he thinking , he should have stopped her.
She is no where near ready for something like this.
You could tell from the first day.
.
You can say it was her own idea , her own fault.
She is a recovering drug addict. What were her doctors thinking.
I feel sorry for her. I just hope it isn't going to have a lasting effect.

I'm sure she'll be fine now she back with her family. I think I remember her saying that her family have taken the place of drugs in her life.

There are two kinds of ex-addict:

The ones who put it behind them and for whom its only really an issue as a subject for stories you tell (I am in this camp)

and those for whom "recovery" takes the place of their addiction. Instead of harmful substances they become hooked on the process of group meetings, therapy and the attention they gain from being an "ex-addict". IMO this is nearly as unhealthy.

Cocaine is not *physically* addictive (unlike say heroin or cigarettes) but rather psychologically addictive (ie. the user feels the need to take it because of some perceived lack in their lives. Rather telling methinks.

I spent years when *everyone* I knew was a heavy drug user - Daniella is particularly needy - I bet she was awful when she was high (demanding and emotional and very hard work)

Mesostim and beer monster, you are both very naughty......and very funny! Without reason, well done for being strong enough to gat off drugs. Recently I saw a T.V. prog where someone took cocaine and made it look like a fun thing to do. Having had a bad day, I flippantly remarked that I could do with "some of what he's having" and got a short, sharp lecture from my 21 year old daughter on the evils of cocaine! I knew all about stuff like heroin, dope, LSD and amphetamines but very little about cocaine and the damage it can do....well I do now. Consider me well and truly chastened! Guess it's back to the cooking sherry for me then.
