Daniella's Diary
Emzi
07-05-2003
Alison Hammond interviewed Daniella on This Morning. Daniella said that she's spoken to her agent and she's considering a new TV job offer. She said the problem with I'm A Celeb was that it it was a "job" that didn't fit in with family life.

Alison told Fern that Daniella had turned down "the biggest press deal she's ever had" from a local tabloid. Fern quickly pointed out that Daniella's agent is today flogging "Daniella's Jungle story and personal diary" to the highest newspaper bidder.

Tony Blackburn, sat close by said: "If she doesn't sell her story - I'm a monkeys uncle".

Thoughts?

Of course she's going to sell her story.

It'll be the "big story" in either The Sun or Mirror this weekend.

No doubt about it.

You can see the pound signs in her eyes.

By the way she doesn't seem to be "missing her kids" anymore, even though they are still in the UK.

Once a user, always a user. She's sprinting for the finishing line before the other mugs are off the blocks. I hope her TV job offer isn't on anything I was intending to watch - I've seen enough of her selfish little face to last me a lifetime.

LOL

Its amazing what a Big Mac, 2 baths and a couple of nights in a 5 star beachside luxury hotel can do to you!

If this IS what she said the here in lies the truth and problem - she concidered it a job, a well paid one by all accounts and one that raised money for - well you know.....

Sell her story - fine don't read it or watch her if your not interested, I did see the documentry recently about her and she seems like a nice girl, jsut one who totally screwwed her life up - so we could assume she's trying to readdress that now.

I for one didn't like her at first but I think she's come accross as genuine and straight up - I'd be even happier for her to tell us why she really went in and give us the truth about her motive.

She showed no fear at her Task - one of the worst - her downfall was her emotions - but then again she seems to have a lot to be emotional about.....

If she couldn't hack sitting around in the " jungle " for a few days, how is she going to cope with a TV presenting job ??

And how long before she takes something to " help her through the day " ??

It'll end in tears ...................again

Well, praise to her PR agent for making a big turnaround for her.
They must have paid him/her well.

She has set out and achieved what she has intended in the first place - to bring herself back into the public eye, not that I really give a toss. False and annoying for the whole week. Thank god that she walked.

I keep reading, though not on purpose I assure you, about her "millionaire businessman" husband, so why the heck is she having to hawk herself round the highest bidder in the first place?

That makes all this even more distasteful and tawdry.

Not only is she an ex drug bucket, failed actress, failed reality TV show, also ran, but now we can add greedy sod to that illustrious list too.

It's not the first time Daniella called I'm A Celeb a "job". When she first wanted to leave - she said that she would never again take a job which meant she was parted from her husband.

(But then, I'm sure she's not the only one in the jungle that considers it a job if we're honest)

Her appearence at the Bush Tucker Trial vexed me a bit. She was all tolerance, cheeky grins and giggles, a million miles from the Daniella in camp.

I used to feel sorry for yet admired Daniella in equal measure. But I'm beginning to wonder if I'm letting the sympathy I feel for her drug habit recovery cloud the fact that this is one big money-spinning, opportunity-laden ego trip? Is that too cynical?

Has the wool been pulled over our eyes a bit?

I think it has Emzi.
I've read many sources today say that within 5 mins of her leaving, Danni and her husband had instructed her agent to tout her story all over town.

I suspect the competition in camp was too much for her so she made it work in her favour.

I wouldn't Daniella is already mega expensive on celebdaq...your bucks'd be better spent on Phil or Fash IMO they are about a fifth of Daniella's price per share
