High frequency noise
Am I the only one to be upset by the very high frequency noise coming from the modern television panels and PC LCD panels? In some television shops I have to protect my ears. My old Sony CRT never gave me any trouble but my new plasma and LCDs whine a lot.
Is there any modern set that is less troublesome in this respect? I have a sound meter for my surround sound set up but I guess this is just a pressure meter. It does not differentiate the various frequencies. |
