Moon Safari
Just dug this little gem out after not having listened to it for a good few years.
It's one of the great unknowns in my book... Air created a forgotten masterpiece! |

I recently bought it in a HMV sale, it is such a great little record. I'n definitely looking forward to hearing Air's new album; I think it's out soon.

I only picked up 10000hz Legend.. what's the rest of their discography like? Similar or more experimental.. or a cheeky bit of both??

Their most recent album, Pocket Symphony, came out earlier this year and is fantastic - possibly their best since Moon Safari, but it's a bit early to say. They haven't changed too much throughout their album really. I think if you like one album, you'll like them all to some degree.

This is one band that does not get the credit it deserves. Moon Safari still sounds fantastic today. I did read not so long back in some french music mag that they might bring out another album this year, as they seem to be in a very creative mood.

The Darkel album by one of the Air members was good too but seemed to get overlooked. It's full of catchy little pop tunes.
