Has anyone had this problem and know a solution? Bought the machine in January, fine until this week when won't play any DVDs (harddrive not affected): spends ages loading the disc then message comes up "cannot play this disc". This happens with ANY DVD, all of which it previously played fine.
Any ideas?

Probably the DVD drive that's failed?.

I too have just had this problem, both with pre-recorded and new discs that were fine the night before.
