Thinking about getting this as i have a budget of £400, will be using it for HD, SD and my xbox 360 and PS3 in the future. I was atrracted to this as it says it has a 6ms response time which should be good for gaming.

Does anyone have any experience with this set?

I had a hitachi of a similar price but found out that it had a response time of 16ms and was actually made by vettel which i was pretty angry about.
I remember reading that old sharp CRT's were made by the same people so i was wondering if this was the same case here.

If someone wants 26" then why try and change that?

Also, what difference would 1080p make to a 32" panel? It's only marginal on 37" and above!

No, it's not Vestel.

Brilliant set homer, stunning with dvd's and brilliant with a SD sky box. Havent tried HD yet, as i was told that there is no point if its only a 26"!!!

So who told you that? - the size of set makes NO difference, it's the distance you view from relative to the size that does. A 26 inch at 5 feet is EXACTLY the same as a 52 inch at 10 feet - so a 26 inch at 5 feet would be BETTER (and larger) than a 52 inch at 12 feet!.
