tv ghosts bleed through

can any one give me advice of how to get rid of ghost ,bleed through that i get with sky and my dvd player they are both connected to tv with scart leads which i have renewed to no affect .can anyone tell me what the cause could be.

Make sure the SCART's are individually screened, this usually cures it.

Or cut off pin 19 in the TV end of the leads, this is the unwanted output from the TV.

thanks for your help but the question to now ask as i am new to all this is what is the best way to screen the scart leads

You can't screen the leads you have. You have to get new individually screened leads (or cut pin 19 in your existing leads as Nigel suggested).

All decent quality SCART leads are individually screened and usually marked as such on the packaging. A very rough rule of thumb with SCART leads is the thicker the cable the better the quality.

hi i have now cut wire 19 on scarts and it has cured the problem thanks once again for your help guys
