16:10 aspect ratio support?

I guess it's my fault for buying a 16:10 TV without realising it, but I was just wondering whether it is likely that Tiscali will ever offer 16:10 under widescreen options as well as 16:9? Maybe it's a feature that could be introduced with the new STB; I wouldn't even mind automatic letterboxing. It doesn't bother me that much at the moment, just looks like everyone's gone on a diet. Also does anyone know why some TVs are made 16:10 (and vertically stretch rather than letterbox 16:9 images) when most sources are 16:9? I'd never heard of this before I decided to measure the TV, but it seems an increasing number of TVs, especially those with small screens, are being made 16:10....

Most of the channels they re-broadcast and their own epg isn't even in 16:9 yet... so chances of getting 16:10... slim to none.

It's most likely because smaller TVs are repurposing computer flat panels.

What model TV did you get?

Bush LCD15W00HD which I am really pleased with otherwise. It's only 15.4" diagonally, and it's only annoying when you focus on it...I just wish it offered letterboxing as well as stretching.
