inappropriate flight music
on a recent First Choice flight to Tenerife the music they piped into the cabin- as we literally touched down- was Edwin Starr's WAR. I'm not a great flyer and so the bit that got me was the bit that goes "Who wants to die?". I remember particularly because by some co-incidence when we landed back home it was at exactly the same place on the compilation and we had to listen to War all over again!
Anyone else scared by in-flight entertainment/music/etc? |

Not music but on a recent trip to New Zealand one of the in-flight movies was Out of the Blue, a riveting but harrowing thriller about NZ's worst mass killer who went gun crazy in Dunedin and killed 13 people.
I decided to leave Dunedin off my list of places to visit... And if you're reading this Air New Zealand, loud opera as the default menu music does not constitute relaxing entertainment on a long haul flight! |
