I just watched friday's episode , omg, one word, AMAZING !
It was so well done. Tom singing too, that was really good. And the music playing while it went through each of the suspects , i loved that song ! Great acting too !!!!!

Thought i'd open this thread where we can talk about this AMAZING story. Its going to be an exciting few weeks in Chester !!!!

The Suspects:

Calvin : Clare manipulated Louise into aborting Calvin's
child. Will this news cause Calvin to kill ?

Louise : Louise thought Clare was her friend, but when she
finds out the truth, will it drive her to kill ?

Justin : Clare has been using Justin to her advantage, will
he find out the truth and want her dead?

Warren: Warren and Clare have never got on and Warren
has killed before, will he kill again?

Max: Since he found out that Clare only married him for
money and then she tried to kill him, he has a huge
motive to kill her?

OB : After what clare has put his best mate Max through ,
Will OB end Max's misery once and for all???

Monday 25th
Calvin ,Louise , Max , OB and Warren are all questioned about their whereabouts when Clare was pushed. Katy is relieved when Justin regains consciousness in hospital, but he's alarmed by the news about Clare. Rhys bonds with his new dad in The Dog. Jake tries to talk some sense into Rhys but when Noel hits the jackpot on a fruit machine Rhys becomes distracted by his dad's rock n roll attitude and heads off into town.

Tuesday 26th
Craig and Sarah bump into John Paul .The lads cringe as Sarah berates them for not seeing each other for so long, and an awkward Craig ends up inviting John Paul to join them on their night out. Craig is on edge as John Paul questions him about his sexuality. After seeing the video from the McQueens' hen night Max insists OB isn't a murderer and deletes the footage. But when OB returns, Max asks him where he was when Clare was pushed. Feeling under suspicion, OB retaliates and the pair end up fighting.

Wednesday 27th
John Paul tells Craig he is a coward and a fake but accepts that he wants to be in love with Sarah . Craig admits that he does want to love Sarah but that it's John Paul that he really loves. They finally kiss... Rhys is with Noel in the SU bar, waiting for a girl he met the night before to arrive. But Rhys returns from the toilet to find Noel chatting the same girl up and about to leave. Noel gives Rhys a wink, claiming all's fair in love and war, and suggests he should find somewhere else to sleep that night.

Thursday 28th
Noel tells Rhys he's leaving Hollyoaks: wanting to have the same reckless and carefree attitude, Rhys decides to go with him. But while he's packing, Rhys overhears Neville and Noel arguing. As Neville implores Noel not to take Rhys with him, Rhys realises Neville cares about him more than Noel ever will. Craig and John Paul find some time alone: Craig leans in to kiss John Paul but John Paul pulls away, unsure of Craig's commitment. Craig assures him he's finally realised his feelings for John Paul are genuine and they kiss passionately. Max can't keep it together when visiting time is up at the social services office and pleads with Tom to come home. Still conscious of Clare's threat, Tom clams up and OB has to urge Max to leave the office.

Friday 29th
Everyone is shocked when John Paul announces he's splitting up with Spike . Craig is uneasy as he begins to think of the implications of what he's getting into. He promises to finish with Sarah when he can find the right time. Clare takes a turn for the worse, but just as she seems to be on her way out, she jolts back to life. Later, she tells Detective Grant she knows exactly who pushed her. With sweet revenge in her voice, she tells the detective it was Warren .

Monday 2nd July
Following Clare's revelation, Warren is arrested for her attempted murder, but he claims to have an alibi in the form of Mercedes. Sarah is delighted when her modelling photos end up on the front cover of a magazine and Max pays Tom another visit but seems no closer to convincing his brother to return home.

Tuesday 3rd July
Louise drowns her sorrows as she agonizes over not being able to remember if she was the one who pushed Clare before demanding that Calvin arrest her. Sarah wonders whether giving up modelling was the right choice, Jacqui berates Mercedes for cheating on Russ and Clare employs a nurse to care for her after she leaves hospital.

Wednesday 4th July
Max pays Clare a visit, threatening to kill her if she doesn't speak to Tom and persuade him to come home. Mercedes confesses to Father Raymond as she tries to decide whether to admit to her night of passion with Warren, while Calvin and Louise work together to construct a false alibi.

Thursday 5th July
Louise's guilt intensifies and she decides to visit Warren in prison to discuss her doubts about what happened the night Clare was pushed. Max and OB wait on tenterhooks to see whether Clare will retract her statement to social services, while Darren is torn between Zak's friendship and his attraction to Zoe. Jessica finds her money problems mounting

Monday 9th July
Nicole returns to Hollyoaks to help Russ prepare for the wedding, although she clearly doesn't agree with his choice of bride. Russ is not impressed when Mercedes asks Aleksander to be his best man. Josh decides on a more rock n roll hairstyle. He invites Amy to think of a band name, although Fletch has reservations about her involvement. Calvin visits Warren in prison and tells him there's no hope for him now, even with Mercedes as an alibi.

Tuesday 10th July
Dominic upsets Tina by saying she's not normal when she sticks to her no-sex-before-marriage rule. Jacqui tells Tina about Dominic's affair with Mandy. Tina is devastated, and believes their wedding is a sham. Is it all off? Warren calls Mercedes from prison.

Wednesday 11th July
Dominic and Russ have a joint stag night, but Darren loses the keys to the handcuffs after cuffing Dominic and Russ together. Tina tells everybody she's not going to marry Dominic, and that's before she finds him in a compromising position with a stripper! Meanwhile, Mercedes is having a fantastic hen night, but Russ sees her flirting with men and starts to get the jitters. Will either of the weddings go ahead?


Thursday 12th July
Russ disappears on the morning of the wedding. When Nicole finds him, he confesses he loves Mercedes but doesn't feel like he can trust her. Mercedes and Russ have a heart-to-heart and head to the church. And Tina is adamant she won't marry Dominic, but Dominic tells her she's the first girl he slept with and first he ever loved.

Friday 13th July
Louise interrupts the wedding. Russ doesn't know who to believe. Tina is angry that Mercedes has ruined her wedding day plans and is determined to get married today, with or without her and Russ. Tina and Dominic prepare to take their vows, but will Russ and Mercedes join them? Nana McQueen knows Jacqui's secret.

Nice to see a thread about it- I think it is Louise or OB. I am going for Louise though.

Calvin - I bet he's going to drive Louise loopy thinking it was her, let Warren rot and then have Claire blackmail him and the family out of town. Isn't there a plan for them to axe the rest of the Valentines anyway? Shame - Ricky Whittle was the more gorgeous male they've got at the mo.

I haven't heard of the Valentines being axed, but they are quite boring, although with this current storyline I think it will give Calvin something to do. I think they just need some interesting and good storylines. If any of the Valentines stay on it will be Calvin, as he has had storylines since her arrived and now he is involved in this huge storyline and still with his on/off relationship with Louise, I would like to see him stay.

You'd think the hollyoaks police had the gumption to check the so called cctv that clare and warren are always using against each other, to see who was in the club just before she was pushed

Surely Mercedes McQueen has a motive (with the whole compensation feud) and no real alibi (seeing as her movements between being at Warren's flat and back at her house are unknown) and yet the police aren't investigating. I think in a police investigation, she would be quite a plausible suspect.

Exactly, she was the one who wanted money from Claire and I don't understand why she isn't a suspect.

On today's channel 4 episode I picked up on something weird.

The police officer said to max that he "alleged" clare had tried to kill him.

But the police had the hard evidence that Max did nearly die after drowning, and also Max's word as the key witness that it was Clare who had pushed him.


So what's alleged about it????



It's fair to say, the Hollyoaks police have no idea. However if they'd done their jobs properly, half the storylines wouldn't have happened hahaha.

its alleged because it was never proven or taken to court, the police cant say that she actually did try to murder him when it hasnt been proven in a court of law its his word against hers.

also altought mercedes did want money out of claire i dont think she would have pushed her as then she definitly wouldnt get a penny out of her as the pusher did what they did thinking claire would die not survive. i just dont think she has a big enough motive but would be a good twist if it did turn out to be her!

i know its really frustrating isnt it! i found the max and claire and ob storyline so frustrating because max just didnt believe ob no matter what evidence he showed him!

yea i really hate mercedes i still cant understand why she is paired with russ who seems more like tinas type, as hes more romantic and caring!

I think it could be very well Mercedes... I forgotten, did we see her leaving the flat after she slept with Warren, or did he just leave her there?

If he just left her there, it could be correct to assume she went looking for him at the club.

Also, was there a break between her last confrontation we saw with OB and her being pushed?

If so there was time for anything to happen, maybe Mercedes and Clare had a heated row when she arrived to find Warren, and then she stormed off, but then decided in the heat of the moment to push her or something along those lines?

I am not surpsied Louise interrupts the wedding- maybe she finds out about Mercedes and Warren.

I personally didn't mind Mercedes and Russ at first but since she has been cheating on him- now 3 times with Warren- i don't think she deserves Russ. Also she gets so jealous of Russ around other women yet she will happily go and cheat on him. I don't think their wedding will go ahead now which is good.

I cannot wait until Clare wakes up- and see what happens next. It is going to get so good- I am just really keen to see how it all pans out and see what happens to Clare once she is out of hospital.
