toshiba 20WLT56 Screen Distortion
Hi,
I have a Toshiba 20WLT56 LCD TV and has been great since I bought it but screen has now got a problem. When switching on I get vertical "dancing" lines (all colours) and no TV image at all but after about 15 mins it settles and gradually get a normal screen. Before it is back to perfect it displays a ghost screen. Is this a loose connection improving by heat or a more serious failure. Secondly, anybody have a set up plan to connect a Micro DVD system and a DVD recorder because the system has a RF in only? Thanks in advance. |

The first fault could be one of many things.
The TV does have more than RF in only? There's SCART, VGA, Component and Composite on there! |

Thanks for the replay Tellyman, seems I am going to have to get this in for repair as there are no things I can test/try first. Any suggestions as to who to go to as the traditional repairers don't do LCD's. I live in Manchester, are there any known LCD repairers. 2nd part of question. My problem is with the aerial in and out. I meant that there is no aerial out and wondered what the best way to connect these items without the aerial output?
Thanks again. |

Goldoenclogg, I have the same tv and the same problem has just started with mine. However, I find that if I put it into standby and back the tv works fine.
