There was a time when Sally and her family were dominating Corrie and we got tired of the Websters but now enough time has passed so we could cope with a new Sally story-line. I hope her disgruntled behaviour towards poor Hayley, who is doing her best, is the beginning of Sally running the factory while the Connors sort themselves out.

Nope, don't want her running the factory. She is a horrible snob who thinks she's above everyone else Can not stand her attitude, esp last nights show.

It's time she was taken down a peg or two, Isn't there a storyline on it's way where she is shown up at work by a member of her family?

Rosie is to be emplyed as the Connors' new PA and will effectively be put in charge of her own mother.

I'm disappointed by this, it's be nice to see soap kids occasionally going to university (even if Rosie just went to Manchester Uni), and not getting dead end jobs!

I'd forgotten about the possibility that Rosie would run the factory. That's much better as the friction it would cause with Sally and all the other workers would be fantastic.

Sally does need another storyline. I don't know much about her family, has this been discussed? do we know about her parents etc?

I seem to remember that her (on screen) mum died. Sally was `looking after her` whilst the actress was away having babies and Kevin was bedding Natilee Horicks. Also some years ago Sallys sister Gina Sedden was a semi-regular.

is that the woman he had a child with that died and then she stole sarahs baby and then ran infront of a truck and died herself!? i wonder why he never mentions this family he used to have esp as there must have been atleast 7 death anniversarys since then you would expect him to get a bit upset would you not?

thanks, maybe bring back Gina then? or Eddie? (Sally's father?).

Could be good if Bill and Eddie clashed or something.

Sally needs to be toned down a smidge, but I do love the Websters and hope they get a good storyline soon.

Sally is the street's answer to Hyacinth Bucket. She likes to think she's a cut above the rest but really she's as common as muck

She's a right old tart too. How many men has she had over the years? Kevin, Ian Davenport, Martin Platt, Chris the mechanic, the bloke who worked in the market, Greg Kelly etc.

That's a good point actually. Sally could probably be a good comedy character if some more effort was put in.

I think Sally's father died many years ago. It was a bit of a U-Turn story-line as when Sally first appeared as Sally Sneddon her background was very dodgy, especially her father. Hilda was very upset when Kevin brought Sally back to meet her. Rosie ran away to Scarborough, where her gran was now living after the death of her grandfather. When Sally was Sally Sneddon her family were all penniless wastrels. When her father died suddenly her mother became well off and respectable. When Sally's mother died Sally inherited a decent amount which Greg "helped" her to waste on business schemes, but mostly on himself. Hope that makes sense, it's late
