Interference on Component input with new power supply
Morning all,
Currently I have a Panny THPV500 42" display and connected through component I have my Wii, DVD and 360 using a component switching box. All was working great until I added an external power supply to another piece of AV equipment (plugged into the same power socket) and now I have a line of interference (like static) in the picture whenever I use a component source. When I turn the PSU off, the interference goes away. What is causing this? I don't think it's shielding as the distance from the equipment and the PSU doesn't seem to matter, it's like it's introducing 'noise' to the setup somehow. Is there a filter of some kind I can use to improve things? Is the PSU faulty? Thanks! Adam |
