Dirty Den Vs JR Ewing Vs Paul Robinson
Well JR and Den were a bit before my time so I will have to go for Paul Robinson. And as others have said he is a class act 
JR Ewing.
I've always believed the 'legendary' Den & Angie Watts to be a poor man's JR & Sue-Ellen Ewing.

It has to be Paul Robinson, with JR a close second. Paul Robinson is the cheesiest bad soap guy ever. pantomime baddy through and through, its great!

I weren't even born when Dallas was in it's heyday but I still know who JR Ewing is!I think I'll have to say Den Watts is my favourite, but from 85-89 only. The character was awful on his return, I still can't comprehend why he felt the need to whisper every word?
J.R.....J.R.....how to explain J.R......Anyway, I'm in my teens and I know who JR is! From watching Father Ted actually, with the dude who sits on the wall in a T-shirt saying I shot J.R-but anyway, ermm.....

Two highly rated episodes, originally airing in 1980, were "A House Divided" and "Who Done It?". JR was THE man! He was so bad it was a pantomime! Loved the guy. Den wasn't so much straight-forward bad, more twisted - at least from 1985-1989. Never saw his return. Don't know about Paul either, only remember him in the early days and Neighbours has changed a lot since then.

The UKTV Gold re-runs are currently in Season 2, and he is just getting better and better! I love the grin on his face at the end of nearly every episode - setting everyone up! Always trying to get the approval of "Daddy!" The scens between him and Sue Ellen are just priceless!
