Could anyone please tell me if a dvd player (UK model) exists that will play mp3,s and also display the track details?.Also it has to have RGB output and preferably D.t.s. I know the LG 3350E plays MP3,s but does it display titles. Thanx In anticipation.

The Scan SC2000 displays all the ID3 information on screen. It also shows directory stuctures fine.

The only 'problem' is that is only shows file names in a 8.3 format, although shows full ID3 names.

I've just bought the Logix DVD3000. It's great for DVD's, VCD and MP3's and read CDR's and CDRW's, so I can put many MP3's on CDRW and play them through there.

You also get a good on screen display to choose the MP3s.

It had built in Dolby 5.1 and DTS and has coaxial and optical digital output as well as RGB scart and S-video.

This DVD player kicks. DVD quality is superb with many extra features. And it only cost £150.00

the Thomson 4500 ( or it might be a 4600 maybe) does MP3 playback, CD-R playback and its easily hacked for multi region by entering in a simple code. It does have an inbuilt Digital decoder though, so it's not a cheaper model.

Looks nice, aluminium front panel, and all that.. plenty of output sockets too...

Easy to change which region you want, and if used with a the sharp nicam VCR (£99 one) it will record DVD's no problem

The Arcam DV88 plays MP3's from a cd, dunno if it displays the track name though.

By the way it costs £900...
