Contacting BT
Have tried on numerous occasions to call BT up to set up a direct debit, but I've been kept on hold for 40 minutes without getting through to an advisor. Is there any other way I can set up a direct debit to pay for line rental without having to call them? I have tried the automated line i.e. 0800 44 33 11 but it keeps telling me there has been an unexpected error and passes me on to one of the phantom advisers.
I'm actually getting really frustrated now, cos I really don't want to keep paying a payment processing fee, when I'm happy to pay by direct debit. I only have the phone line for broadband, don't make any calls on it |
