So who the greatest out of these two Tarts with a heart.

Angie Watts of course, she was the greatest soap female ever without a doubt so you put her up against anybody and she'll always win.

30 million viewers can't be wrong.

^ But I do believe Dallas destroyed that rating with 'Who Shot JR?'

Sue Ellen for me.

Look at it in relation to country and population though.

In the UK, 30.1 million viewers is something like half the population whereas in America, 90 million viewers (which is what 'Who Shot JR?' pulled in), while still being an incredible audience, would not be anywhere near half the population.

If the UK had the same population as the USA then who's to say that Angie's christmas 'surprise' wouldn't have got even more viewers?

It's easy to do a direct comparison with the figures but it gets a bit more complex when you look at the achievements themselves and getting half the population of a country watching one show is mega. EastEnders is the only British soap (and probably the only soap) to ever achieve this.

And I'm not dissing the audience the 'Who Shot JR?' storyline did pull in, it's incredible.

Angie Watts was great. She's probably the best 'tart with a heart' in British soapland at least!
