Can somebody help me? Something has been bothering me for a while now. Where do the staff at the Vic cook /make the food for the customers? I've never seen them do it in the living quarters upstairs. But they do advertise food. Can't work out where the kitchen might be.

When there is a function on (like a christening) , when Peggy was still in charge of the Vic she would either get most of the food catered in or would make a few sandwiches upstairs in their Kitchen.
Don't know what happens now though, and don't know about the regular pub food.
Ive never seen anyone order food in their though ( unlike the Rovers), usually just the odd pack of Cheese+onion crisps!!!

There's a sign between the toilet door and the staff access door next to the end of the bar, advertising pub grub. But like you I haven't seen anyone order anything for ages! Not since they had a fight with the Di Marco's over lunch time trade me thinks.

yep, either no shot of the doors, or the sign will have been replaced with an arty picture or something. Well maybe not arty as it is the Queen Vic after all!

Could it be next to the cellar? Or maybe in a small ante-room off the men's cludgie?

Well it would explain why nobody ever orders food in the Queen Vic - cos if it tasted like sh:te it could be because it is sh:te.

Come to think of it, when do they ever serve food in the Queen Vic apart from wakes, weddings, christenings and if a token storyline depends on it? I mean, it's hardly like going into the Rovers and asking for one of Betty's hotpots is it?

I think it cud be next to the cellar.
At my old local to get to the cellar u walked through a small kitchen where all the food was prepared, and the door to the kitchen was always kept locked.

SF

PS I might go send an question to the EE website and see if they reply!

No need...the kitchen is around the corner by the back door that leads to the area where they store some of the drinks. (Where Phil caught Spencer with the money in yesterday's episode.)

The kitchen has never, however, been seen, but it has been referred to.
