EE: Dawn should have handed her newborn baby over to May...

...IF Dawn really couldn't face entering the 'life-sentence'
that is motherhood (changing/bathing/dressing the baby)
AND Dr. Wright didn't stand a chance of being arrested,
or continuing her evil ways (some of which were grotesque).

Well, the infertile May was desperate for a baby, wasn't she?

If we're talking life-sentences, straightjackets rather than babies spring to mind when I think of Dr May!

i loved may but i wouldnt trust her with my baby if i was dawn.

i she didnt do all that stuff to her i may of or if she didnt go psycho, i would've trusted her if she continued to be like she was at the beginning, when she found out dawn was pregnant

May is clealry a little bit "unstable" mentally and I dont see being infertile as an excuse. There are many infertile women in the UK alone and i'm sure none of them go around kidnapping pregnant women and threatening to cut them open.

That's Eastenders for you though....and that's why I love it!

Me too. She wanted to be a mum so much, and I wanted her to be a mum too

As crazy as she was, May would never have hurt the baby.

I agree. All she ever wanted a baby and unfortunately she acted irrationally to get one. But like you said, she'd never have hurt the baby - she'd be a good mother.

Thinking about it though, I can't really imagine her with a baby though. Saying that I can't imagine Dawn either.

May would be very caring to the baby, but might smother it too much and she may have grown spoilt. If Dawn doesn't get her act together baby Summer is going to grow up poorly too.

dawn has to get a place of her own that house is minging, the dog is minging and keith is minging. the health visitor will have a heart attack if she pops round

as mad as may was she would of probably been a terrific mother, unfortunately desperation turned her to madness and now shes left with the consequences. Dawn will bond with her daughter in time, how can she not she gorgeous

Its Rob i worry about in that little triangle, he loves whoever he happens to be looking at, and agrees with whoevers telling him to agree, he wants sectioning as much as his wife

No its Dawns baby and its better with her. May isn't stable enough, and despite her need to have a baby she doesn't really seem that maternal, or caring (strange being a doctor lol).

I agree with the non maternal bit but I disagree that she hasn't been caring. She has always been seen to be very helpful and caring towards her patients...although maybe an exeption can be made for Mrs Patel.
