Pretty boring tonight really.
I like the factory scenes, and I do feel sorry for poor Hayley. I suppose she doesn't have any access to the bank accounts and so can't order new materials, pay wages, or any of the other essential processes involved in running a factory. The others are pretty nasty to her but she's fearing for her job as well.
In terms of the Violet storyline and the confusion about whether or not she can have children, I think the following is true:

Violet had an ectopic pregnancy
She was initially told she might not be able to have children.
Eventually it was found that she can have children and the whole ectopic pregnancy incident has acted as a catalyst in her now realising how much she wants children.
I don't like the Sean and Violet storyline though, mostly because of Sean. I don't think Antony Cotton is a good actor at all; he can do the whole thing about making catty comments very well, but dramatic stuff is beyond him. Not only that, but I find the actual character of Sean self-centred, self-absorbed, extremely selfish, prying, stroppy, immature, and generally unlikeable. I really like Violet and Jenny Platt, but I can see this storyline being terrible. The scene with that other couple and the two children, for example, was cringeworthy.
I've always liked Leanne because of her tough exterior but hidden vulnerable side, and I think that came across well today. It's good to show her being nervous about the restaurant. I'm interested to see where this storyline will go, despite the ludicrous nature of it financially.
Finally, the dreaded 'coming next' banner made a return in the Granada region tonight, after almost a week's absence. This time, it insisted on telling us what was coming next on ITV1 and also on ITV3. How considerate. I think I'll be sending them an e-mail very shortly.
