###Paul Quirk, of the Entertainment Retailers Association, told a conference: "It would be an insult to all those record stores who have supported Prince throughout his career.###

This quote really pisses me off, Prince doesnt owe record retailers anything, they 'supported' him by selling his records for a profit to them. If his records didnt sell would the record stores still have 'supported' him? Morons.

I really want to hear this album, but simply can't bring myself to buy the Mail on Sunday. Why on earth didn't he choose a better newspaper to give his music away in?

JESUS! It'll mean you can get a £10 cd for about £1.20. Swallow your pride, buy the paper then give it away to the nearest down and out! I mean i'm TOTALLY straight, but if they were giving away a cd by one of my fave artists with a filthy gay mag, i'd buy it.

You can't say "filthy gay", it's not politically correct.

This makes me like and respect the guy. Too many so called artists today are only in the business for the money and fame. (and some even have the cheek to reunite after 10 years and say its not for the £10mil each but to say goodbye to the fans, if it was for the fans then copy Prince and giveaway the concert tickets for free )

Well, why not? It's up to him what he does with his own album. I just wonder why he chose the Mail On Sunday.
