Just when you thought they had learnt their lesson with Den....

It looks like a good storyline I agree.
I can't see that if Cindy was really making a return that she would do it this way though. SHe wouldn't scare her kids like this. Obviously someone with a grudge against the Beales. |

Sounds very interesting, if it involves the Beales getting more screen time its always a bonus.

What was Cindy's son who went to live down under called? Was it Simon? He was pretty bitter towards Ian when he left so it could be leading up to his return. How old would he be now? Well into his teens I think ...

There was something on here about a man taking a dangerous interest in Lucy. I wonder if this ties in with that.

If it turns out to be one of the kids then isn't this just of copy of what Corination Street did?
Would be quite good to see Cindy again though. |

Would be good, especially as they touched on the feeling of being haunted when they moved into Paulines house.

Would be quite good to see Cindy again though. If it turns out to be indeed someone pretending to be Cyndi, they will be copying Corrie (no question about it!) If Cyndi does return then it will lose just as much crediblity! |

Cindy was brilliant and i think they could do this well...
if its someone pretendin to be cindy then yeah it does sound like corrie but corrie totally bottled it and when it was david it was a massive let down... if EE did it well then it would be great! if it really is cindy then i would be very gald to see her again, especially as they are slowly turning lucy into her |

This is almost the exact same storyline as the Hillman Cards in Corrie.
If it turns out to be Peter then there will be A LOT of complaints, I'm sure.

I think this sounds very interesting. |

same newspaper said that a MAJOR storyline was that Jane was a child killler - now we know she was a fat kid!!
michelle collins has recently gone on record saying she doesnt watch EE, its too violent, not good etc so hardly an endorsment. Also the witness protection storyline was about 2/3 years ago. |

I always thought that killing off Cindy was a mistake. She was such a fabulous character and whoever made that decision in the show should have been slapped senseless and given the boot for coming up with such a ridiculous idea.
EastEnders is still my favourite soap but I do think they need to bring a "Cindy" like character back into it. To be honest, I hope they do bring Michelle Collins back as I'd be prepared to suspend story credibility to get a fantastic character and actress back in the show. And while they're at it get rid of Li Chong. She has to be the most pointless and annoying character they've ever brought into this show. And do something with Preeti or get rid. Same for Gus. |

If we are looking for potential suspects to something that may or may not happen
then I have a theory, could it be Steven? How did he leave? Does he resent Ian? How old would he be now? He could be back to defend his mum?

michelle collins has recently gone on record saying she doesnt watch EE, its too violent, not good etc so hardly an endorsment. Also the witness protection storyline was about 2/3 years ago. She does watch the show because she was on PBS in America not long ago doing a funding drive to keep the show on-air over there and when asked if she still watched it she said she did and that it was hard to avoid it because it's "in people's living rooms 5 times a week and it's everywhere". Nowhere in that article does it say that Cindy is definitely back so I don't know why people are making snide remarks about this storyline. Rumours of her return have been circulating for years yet nothing has ever come of them. I think they could get away with the witness protection idea at a stretch but I'm not sure they're going to go down that road. Michelle Collins has always maintained that she wouldn't return again now so unless she's done a complete u-turn, I can't see Cindy coming back. It's probably somebody else sending the pictures/emails etc. And my guess is it's Nick, the guy who Cindy was seeing. I hope this is true as it sounds really inspired and a great storyline for the Beales! It'd be good if Cindy did return and they did the wiitness protection storyline but I doubt she will and it'd be good if it was somebody else sending the emails etc so either way EE is on to a winner with this one. And I'm sure it'll be more interesting than the 'cards' storyline in a certain other soap that people have been referring to which had a really poor climax. |

With Cindy the whole witness protection idea is kind of plausible. It would be stretching it a bit but surely people wouldn't mind too much because it's Cindy fgs one of the best soap bitches ever.
