Steve McDonald - The best male in Corrie
An annoying teen, hated him in the mid 90's when he went to jail...but since the late 90's I ADORE the character. Now he fits in at the Rovers so well, and is a great agony uncle for characters to spill their hearts out to. When everyone was being nasty to Leanne he was the only one to offer her a shoulder to cry on.
Steve NEVER leave . |

I think he is the best character in Corrie at the moment.
His humour is one of the main reasons i like the character. |

I love Steve too. I particularly like him sparking off Eileen.

Yep, count me in. I love him as well. He is one of those guys that acts as much with his facial expressions as anything - one look from him can say more than two pages of script!!!

Now he's matured, he's a kind of old school Corrie character he gets all the best one liners & delivers them superbly, be ace if he had a drunken fling with Eileen, both of them trying to forget nothing happened, they work well together.

Yep, a proper Coronation Street character. Pretty much since his conception (as a character
) it has been the last long term thing corrie has done.

I'm not a fan of him, he can be quite funny, but the rest of the time I find him boring and pointless.

He's quite amusing but when it comes to serious stuff he's a tad average. Partly down to the writers that though, by the way they make him act a tad insensitive

I love Steve, Simon Gregson is fantastic at comedy.
He also works so well with my favourite Corrie actress Sue Cleaver, aka Eileen Grimshaw

I hated him as a teen too but now, I love him. I think I probably got to like him when he was with Karen. I love the faces he pulls & the things he comes out with.

I like him a little, but I think he can be very self-centred and sometimes seems to hate it when other people have problems when these problems mess up things he has planned...
