Wonder if it's a nod to Douglas Adam's Starship Titanic. He did write for the old Who..

Is it wrong that number 5 makes me think that the writing of this ep may well be... shall we say... a bit on the lame side in places.

Arghhh, of all of them that's the one that I liked the most....well it made me smile anyway.
A bit Time Trumpet like, if anything...I think incorrect facts stated as truth are pretty funny!

Considering that unlike far too many of the show's episodes, the setting is something aside from modern day London, it's a shame not to see more alien characters in the mix. The little red chap looks okay, but aside from that (and the Hosts as they're being called) all I've seen is the fat bloke from Tracy Beaker and Debbie Chazen looking like a red pair of prats. I just hope, considering the line dancing-esque attire, we'll be subjected to some crappy southern states accents.

I know the budget always factors into things, and that this ep is pretty CGI heavy, but if wouldn't hurt to vary things visually a bit. It's a shame they waste so much money on countless Daleks or Cybermen, when they could be doing more weeping angels or even those scarecrows (both of which I imagine are vastly cheaper).

'Dr Who' criticised by Titanic survivor.

Re: the last post....

A flippant comment made by a 95 year old who hasn't seen the programme, won't watch the programme, and just spouts drivel because the name is being used.

Why do the media give these crackpots the time of day? How about:

"Fire Victim Slates ITN" - Where a badly scarred man complains about ITV using the world "NEWS" so often, after he was in a newpaper printing plant fire.

It's all such crap.
