does anyone else use the free t-email.co.uk email service, it seems like the sms alert to your phone is not working as of yesterday and just wondered if it was just me.

I have emailed them but no reply as yet.

no, the alerts are not free and if you get a lot of email to your account the cost can add up.

People may be interested in www.locust.co.uk I think you pay £3 a month to them for a mobile email address but all alerts are free and you can get news, weather and lottery alerts as well as chat rooms. Obviously you still pay for text messages you send, but all from Locust are free.

I used them for about two years, but dropped them as I did not use the service as much as I wanted (did not have the time!).

Or alternatively sign-up with Virgin Mobile where you get a free email account and the SMS alerts are also free!
