cancel BTbroadband phone
Hi guys, do you know if there is a minimum term for the BTbroadband phone? Im currently on the 24/7 package where I pay ontop to be able to make free calls any time, this charges me I think £11.00 a month, so Im wanting to cancel it and move to vonage, that way I would be able to take use of their wifi phone and be able to use it where I work also with the included free minutes I get with bt openzone.
Any suggestions? |

Vonage?
Get yourself an ATA like a Linksys PAP2 (Generic unlocked) off eBay orbroadbandbuyer.co.uk Then look for a decent VoIP provider. Vonage charge you for connection, charge you if you leave. Though I see you want to use their wi-fi phone - only really any good used at home or where you know no one else is really using their connection much. You'll be very disappointed. I would have suggested VoIP.co.uk £20 for the year and you get evening and weekend calls (each up to 60 mins) free and daytime calls at 2p each. There are many other VoIP providers, some have no monthly charge and just charge around 1p/min. Others like VoIPDiscount you pay Ten Euro and get 120 days for free calling - 300 mins per week and unlike Vonage that money isn't lost you can use it after the 120 days outside the 300 mins or on non-free destinations. |

that does sound like a better idea than vonage, and if their wifi phone is that bad I wont go there, lol
but the problem still is, the BTBroadband Talk, do you know if they have a min contact term? |
