Just wondered if there was any update on John Bardon? I have looked through news stories on different sites but couldn't anything recent. Is he still in hospital?

There was a thread on here last week apparently he has made excellent progress and will be out of EE for at least 6 months

I was wondering that myself. I think Jim and Dot are priceless, the image of her hitting him with her handbag will remain with me forever lol.
Hope all is well with him, get well soon.

Is it strokes that can affect your speech and mobility?

yeah some people can be left with paralysis down one side. Left sided stroke affects the right side causing paralysis/ weakness, speech problems etc etc and a right sided stroke affects the left side and can cause memory problems problems recognising shapes and words.

Wonder how they are going to write him out of the soap for so long? Surely he can't be in the bookies all that time. Maybe going to to see Carol and Billy or something would make sense

Will be interesting to see how they get rid of Jim for a while, perhaps to see Martin and Sonia?

Jim and Dot are wicked together will be interesting to see what Dot will do now, perhaps get closer to Honey?

Good luck John!!

Totally forgot about them 2!

Then again wasn't some story going around that Billy was meant to be coming back into EE for a bit? If so then him going to see Carol and then bringing Billy back down with him would make sense
