EastEnders - Shirley & Heather
They made me laugh last week, esp Heather talking to her mummy on the phone lol
Any clips of them on youtube? |

She's a vehicle for Jane's BIG SECRET storyline, I can't see her lasting, most characters who are bought in as a plot device and then hang around just end up being pointles e.g. Li, Gus, Naomi... Especially if they are there for 'comic relief'. It's something EE should look at now I come to think of it.

They should keep her on. Her and Shirley living together would be great.

Is she wearing a fat suit? I know that sound silly, but she looks like she isn't really overweight. If you get me?

I don't find there friendship all that believable to be honest, I just can't see why Shirley would have a friend who is so "behind the times?" in the sense that she is a 40+ year old woman who still has to answer to her mother?? .. but saying that it is only early days as yet.
I just don't think they are a good match as say Carly/Dawn or Stacey/Ruby are/were in Ruby's case. |

I agree Shirley doesn't treat her well, but I do like Heather and hope she integrates well in the cast.

Surely there should be a regular policeman on the Square.
Everyone knows a cop who regularly comes into a local cafe or pub. |

I actually found her cringemaking. EE get comedy wrong all the time...they might as well have had (another) 'hilarious' animal storyline than pull in this no mark.

I've seen Heather and read about her, but not watched her in an episode yet. Maybe she'll be OK when I see her and she won't be irritating and daft like Honey and Billy. Nor aggressive like Sean, Mo and Phil. Quote:

No, some of the regular characters are as crap as the corny one-episode-people. The producers and writers have been making EE like this since the 2000's and it needs a radical change all over. If the producers and writers stopped making EastEnders irritating, miserable, aggressive, boring, etc then maybe I'd properly watch it again. ![]() One of my brothers and my sister-in-law like it better than the other soaps. God help them.

I think she's quite funny and it seems as though she's sticking around as a recurring character as she appears in the Brighton episodes in a few weeks. But does anyone else think there's a touch of Cilla and Yana about them?

I like her too. She is like a female Nigel Bates.
Anyone remember him?

Everytime I see her, all I can remember is when she played Judy in the IT Crowd
