My fave 2Unlimited song has to be No Limits. What about everyone else?

Out of all their hits.... one... I'd have to agree with you.

Actually they had about 15 hit singles, one of which was a number one. They also had 3 hit albums, two of which were number ones.

Wanna Get Up

An absolute anthem, released in 1998. Just got into the top 40.

I think you got the name wrong there. It should be 2Untalented.

Extraordinary as this might seem, it's true. They had 14 top 40 hits in the British charts:

2 2 Unlimited Get Ready For This Oct 1991 _
2 2 Unlimited Twilight Zone Jan 1992 _
4 2 Unlimited Workaholic May 1992 _
11 2 Unlimited The Magic Friend Aug 1992 _
1 2 Unlimited No Limit Jan 1993 _
4 2 Unlimited Tribal Dance May 1993 _
8 2 Unlimited Faces Sep 1993 _
15 2 Unlimited Maximum Overdrive Nov 1993 _
6 2 Unlimited Let The Beat Control Your Body Feb 1994 _
6 2 Unlimited The Real Thing May 1994 _
17 2 Unlimited No One Oct 1994 _
22 2 Unlimited Here I Go Mar 1995 _
16 2 Unlimited Do What's Good For Me Oct 1995 _
38 2 Unlimited Wanna Get Up Jul 1998 _

Someone I know wrote some lyrics for them (no, not the "lyric" to No Limit), and bought his house from the proceeds. Nice work if you can get it, I reckon.

Would have to be between Twilight Zone and Get ready for this.

Is this the same guy who wrote Sound of the Underground (Girls Aloud) and Believe (Cher)????

Only liked one of there songs I though "no-one" was their best, but if I remember rightly it didn't do very well in the charts. Maybe everyone was just fed up with them by then

I used to have all their albums but threw them out.

The best song was the title track from their first album - "get ready for this"

it went -

U all ready for this?

Dah dah dah, deh deh dah dah dah dah dah, deh deh dah dah dah dah dah, deh deh dah dah dah dah dah, deh deh dah dah dah dah dah, get ready for this, dah dah dah etc etc.

Still quite good though at the time.

And Kylie Minogue then went on to have an album track which sounded exactly like Get Ready For This. Her version was called "I guess I Like It Like That." I actually prefer her version cos its more discoey!

Dreary, you would no longer by Dreay if you heard "Wanna Get Up." It's a really uplifting happy tune. I have it on CD single and it is on many of my compilation tapes I carry around with me.

It's an anthem and I LOVE it!!

Just been downloading 2 unlimited tracks, I think that the guy is really good but the girl sucks big time, top song has to be either Twilight zone or Tribal Dance.

Tribal Dance wasn't a bad song at all.

'no-one' was the best of their songs that i've heard, and the girl was quite easy on the eye so i was happy to have her on the telly...

THATS AN OMEN!! I saw the cassette single "Faces" in my local Oxfam on Saturday!! It was a rather expensive 50p too. Charity shops think they can charge the earth for these things now. Whatever happened to 25p tapes?
