Corrie Spoiler - Emma's career move !
After all her cloak and dagger behaviour with Mick recently over Les Battersby's court case, Emma to her surprise is promoted to Sergeant, much to the anger of Curley, who is still disgusted by her behaviour in the whole affair...... So........ at Curley's surprise 40th birthday party, she announces her intention to leave the police force .... deciding that her marriage and Ben come first. All together now Ahhhhhhhhhh...... Back to the supermarket Curley.... those shelves need stacking. Now if they would only bring Reg Holdsworth back and get these two working together as a double act again, that would be marvellous.

According to this story Emma and Curly are to be written out in the Autumn. He will be back next year but she is apparently leaving for good!

Did you see Emma's ridiculous hair extensions at the Soap awards? She didn't suit them at all!

Why not just have Emma admit she lied in Court and then have done for perjury and sent inside for a long, long time

Anyway, I can't understand why she is lieing for Mick. I eman, he's been in the Police for 20 years, and I think "well, isn't it time he moved on then?" He should have given himself up long ago.

For you Information, Emma battles blatently with her conciosence, and at one moment decides to tell the truth, but at the last minute changes her mind.
She is already a sargeant, and is shortly promoted to the rank of Inspector , this is how she and little ben is written out as she has to join another police force, after lying in court Curly and emmas marriage comes a cropper (no Haley doesnt run of with Emma) Roy does! ) lol.. ok joke, but curly has to make the difficuilt decision, does he stay with his friends and so on, or does he try and make his marriage work and be with his wife and son. As for coming back, well it's a mutual decision and the scriptwriters have said they will leave the door open for a possible future return. That's of course if they can find any suitable plotlines as he's just about had them all, i mean he could always return with ben and say that Emma was killed in the line of duty (god forbid any officer) .... or could return and take over the running of the pub.. .. well you never know in soapland.. as for les...well does any one know about les? and when does that shit for brains nothing Joe shift out of my .. tv.. i hate that slime balll monkey! |

Go away and find out about Police pensions and their retirement age. Then you might see why the last thing they are going to do is " move on" |
