Could some one tell me out of T-mobile, Orange, O2 and vodaphone which networks lock their contract phones to their network?

T-Mobile and Orange do. Voda do not. I am not sure about 02.

I'm 80% sure that o2 don't lock their phones on PAYG or contract.

But by september, most networks probably won't be subsidsing their phones, so they won't be allowed to lock them.

Networks will still subsidise their phones otherwise they have no justification to charge line rental just like Virgin do.

When I was on Vodafone Pay As You Go my handset was locked.

mine too, all networks lock the phones, unless u get sim free

My boss who use to be on Voda' has never had a locked phone from them. Last one she had was a 3410. Not locked.

I think Orange and T mobile lock all their phones.
Voda and O2 sometimes lock there pay as you go.

i have an o2 contract right now which is unlocked but i am changing to a contract on another network because o2 has been nothin bu trouble for me. But looks like i will just get a locked contract phone and got it unlocked later
