Free calls are 18:00 - 06:00.
You might want to switch to Primus using their CPS service (don't go with line rental). They offer free evening and weekend calls for no fee to, however their evening free calls are 2 hours longer, 18:00 - 08:00, plus you get 90 mins per call. Also they charge per second and don't have a connection fee for chargeable calls. Daytime calls are cheaper. However whether you use Sky or Primus or BT you can place other calls via Call 18185. Daytime UK landline calls are 5p per call, mobiles 3p/min weekend and 6p/min weekdays. (Again no monthly fee). Primus 2: www.planet-talk.co.uk/saver Call 18185: www.call18185.co.uk |

Some of these charges may change soon, so watch out Quote:
... From August 1 BT will also abolish its weekend rate for calls to mobiles, 0845 and 0870 numbers and just have daytime and evening rates.
source: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/money/mai.../cmphone11.xmlIt looks as if weekend calls between landlines aren't affected ... yet. But time will tell ... I guess other telcos will follow suite at some point. |
