my ole mums got one of these boxes and its exibiting some strange behaviour it seems to randomly switch to line 1 input

even during playback of a recording. it is also shutting itself down at random but there are no error codes.

could this be due to the 1.09 firmware ?

the update seems to coincide with the release of the update

Strange.....
My HXD860 has just (Yesterday & today) started doing exactly the same thing.

Also when recording Home & Away, at 18:00 on five, for the past two days the recording has stopped after about five minutes and then re-started again.
The result being two separate titles with the same name and a few minutes of the programme missing in the middle

only got one of these last week, and up until 2-3 days ago mine was fine, but now doing exactly the same. I'm still on software v1.01.08 CE. I have noticed that it only seems to happen when I drop to under 100GB free, just cleared some space and attempting to record something for an hour.
I'll report back later.

Thanks for that misterg. Yes it sound exactly like my problem. Up until now I have not had any problems with my unit. Ihope I don't have to send it back
