Anyone going to see Radiohead?
http://bigtickets.waste.uk.com/
Tickets available here. I'm undecided whether I should go. I think they'd be a great band to see,but £30 is a lot to a cash strapped student. Anyone seen them live? Recommendable? |

Yes! Yes yes yes yes!
Stayed up until 1am last night trying to get tickets but the server had totally melted down. Got up again at 8am and got two for Dublin, now I have to wait 6 and a half months... Seen them first in Newport in Sept '00 and then again at their massive homecoming gig in Oxford in July '01. I can't praise their live performances enough, they're seriously good. Especially the stuff from Kid A and Amnesiac, it has so much more energy when played live. Try and download some live versions of the National Anthem or Idioteque or Like Spinning Plates... they kick the arses of the studio versions. And I love the studio takes! I apologise in advance if I sound like a drooling fanboy in this post, I'm not, I'm just excited ![]() So in conclusion: Get some tickets! You won't regret it. |

I missed out, no tickets left, but the price is pretty steep. I know Stereophonics are going on tour. So I am going to have opt for them instead. But would have loved to see Radiohead.

I'm going to be seeing them at Glasto if that counts. The festival is great without a good line-up but with REM and Radiohead it should be awesome.

The waste sale was only a pre-sale, tickets go on general sale tomorrow from www.gigsandtours.com.

Oh thanks for that, I really want to go and see Radiohead, I have got most of there CD's, I have been a fan for years. I can see the tickets going very quickly. I will only be able to go to see them in Manchester.

I like the new album. The fully produced version is fairly different to the unmastered version which was on the net. The sounds is obviously a lot crisper and it's mixed better - overall it just sounds better. No wonder the band were annoyed at the unfinished tracks leaking.
Some of the songs are really good too IMHO, 2+2=5 and A Wolf at the Door are among my favourites already. Although I don't think its as good as Kid A or OKC, I still like it a lot. |

I got some tickets for Earls Court (November) earlier today
I didn't think I was going to be able to see them after missing out on the last round of tickets that went on sale.I have seen them 3 times before (Reading 1997, Newport, 2000 and Oxford 2001) and they were excellent each time. |
