Motorola K1 or rizr?
Want to buy OH a new moby and as I like Motorola phones I thought of buying him either a K1 or a Rizr. Any thoughts anyone?

RIZR would be my choice. Loads of people have Motorola flip phones but the slider ones are new. And it's got a flash for taking pics! The KRZR is nice too but scratches easily

I do have one reservation about buying the Rizr Z3 and that is the buttons on the outside, won't they keep getting pushed when in his pocket?

I like Motorola phones and when I bought a new K1 recently he was lusting over it! Plus he hates reading instruction manuals and always asks me instead, if its a Motorola I'll know what to do!!!

The K1 is a fantastic looking phone but the performance is very average. Camera quality isn't up to much, the processor is slow and sound quality is basic.
All in all it's the Kelly Brook of phones - very good looking but good for little else

You could also consider the K3. The 3G version of the K1:
